The Standards Applied.
Dalno Studio selects products under the following principles: each item in the catalogue is reviewed for ingredient transparency before listing, supplier documentation is requested where available, corrections are noted in the catalogue record, and the selection team discloses any commercial relationships that could influence inclusion.
This page documents those principles in full and describes how they are applied to both product lines — body care and daily vitamin supplements.
From Supplier to Catalogue.
Initial Identification
Products enter the review pipeline through the selection team's ongoing monitoring of the body care and supplement space in the UK market. Sources include independent wellness publications, supplier catalogues, and direct contact with small-batch producers. No self-submission fee applies.
Ingredient Transparency Review
The complete ingredient list is requested from the supplier. For body creams and natural body cream formulations, botanical origin documentation is sought. For vitamins and supplement ranges, nutrient sourcing and manufacturing notes are requested. Products without full ingredient disclosure are not listed.
Supplier Documentation
Where available, supplier origin documentation is requested and filed. For plant-derived ingredients in body creams, this includes country of origin for key botanicals. For vitamin and supplement entries, this covers nutrient sourcing and production notes. Supplier documentation is retained in the catalogue archive.
Editorial Review
The selection team prepares a catalogue entry for each product: ingredient listing in full, key botanical or nutrient highlights, volume or quantity, and a short descriptive note in the editorial register of the catalogue. No marketing claims are repeated verbatim from supplier materials.
Listing & Ongoing Record
The product is listed in the catalogue with its entry date noted. The record remains open: if new information about an ingredient, supplier practice, or formulation change becomes available, the entry is updated or removed. The catalogue record is the definitive reference.
How Quality Is Assessed.
Body Care Line
For body creams, body butters, and daily body lotions, the Dalno Studio selection team focuses on three quality considerations: botanical ingredient sourcing, formulation integrity, and texture consistency documentation.
Botanical sourcing quality refers to the origin documentation provided by the supplier. Cold-pressed oils, plant extracts, and natural butters are reviewed for whether the supplier can identify their source region and extraction method. This is not a pass/fail — it is a transparency marker.
Formulation integrity is assessed by reviewing the complete ingredient list for consistency: whether key botanical ingredients appear at a meaningful position in the formula, and whether the full list is disclosed without proprietary blend obfuscation.
Products in the Dalno Studio catalogue are selected based on published ingredient research and reviewed for sourcing transparency before listing.
Daily Vitamins & Supplements
For vitamin complexes, healthy supplements, and supplement ranges, the review framework focuses on nutritional variety, ingredient form, and sourcing documentation.
Nutritional variety is assessed by examining the range of vitamins and minerals included relative to the stated routine purpose. Daily vitamins for an active lifestyle are expected to cover a different nutrient spread than vitamins 50+ formulations — and the selection team reviews each product in context.
Ingredient form refers to the specific compound used for each nutrient. Where a more bioavailable form is available and the supplier has chosen it, this is noted positively. Where a less common form is used, the rationale is sought from the supplier.
Sourcing documentation for supplements includes manufacturing location, third-party review notes (where the supplier provides them), and production standard records.
Ingredient Transparency Standards.
The Dalno Studio catalogue operates a full ingredient disclosure standard. No product may appear in the catalogue with a partially disclosed or proprietary-blend formulation. The complete ingredient list — with each component named — must be available from the supplier before listing.
For body care entries, this means all botanical extracts, carrier oils, emulsifiers, and preservatives are listed. For vitamin and supplement entries, all active nutrients, their specific compound forms, and any inactive ingredients are disclosed.
Where an ingredient is listed under an INCI name in body care or a systematic name in supplements, the common name is provided in the catalogue entry for reader clarity.
No product enters the catalogue without a complete, named ingredient list provided by the supplier.
Supplier records are retained in the catalogue archive for all listed products and available for internal review.
Any commercial relationship between the selection team and a listed supplier is disclosed within the catalogue record.
Corrections to catalogue entries are noted in the record. Entries are removed if sourcing standards cannot be verified on review.
